TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Coextruded tubes realized in this way are characterized by an elevated transparency and flexibility. The tube is available in the natural version and in the amber version for the infusion of solutions of drugs photosensitive.
Tubes that can be used for medical applications to connect or complete medical devices. They are used for applications where it is not allowed the PVC material, for example infusion devices used for the transport of solutions incompatible with PVC.
In these tubes the internal layer is in Polyethylene medical grade, the external layer is in PVC (plasticizer TOTM) while the medium layer is a mixture of the two materials. In this way there is no contact of the substance flowed with the PVC.
The tubes can be supplied cut version, in reels or in a plastic spool, with diameters that can be personalized for the client but that generally for this kind of application, are represented by internal diameters that vary from 1 to 5 mm.
APPLICATIONS: The tubes realised with these raw materials are particularly indicated for medical applications where it is not allowed the presence of PVC, this means for the infusion of PVC incompatible drugs.
NORMS: The raw materials used for the production of these tubes comply with specific medical regulations depending on the product. The inner layer made of polyethylene complies with EuPh, USP34, and FDA CFR 21 § 177.2600. Any declarations of medical compliance must be requested at the time of ordering.
NOTE: The end user must ensure that the final articles are suitable to come into contact with the intended pharmaceutical products, in the intended conditions of use, by carrying out the specific tests prescribed by the aforementioned Pharmacopoeia monographs and their related approval procedures.
