TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Silicone tubes are particularly suitable for applications requiring high elasticity and memory, even for continuous and long-lasting use. These tubes are generally intended for medical or technical applications such as robotics, industrial machinery, peristaltic pumps, and continuous recirculation of hot and cold liquids. In food applications, silicone tubes offer the following advantages over other materials: flexibility across a wide range of temperatures, transparency, resistance to temperatures between -40°C and +200°C, good resistance to chemical attacks and oxidation. Silicone tubes are excellent electrical insulators, non-stick, elastic, and resistant to aging.
These tubes have a hardness of ShA 60 ± 5, packaged in 15-meter coils wrapped in PE bags and placed in cardboard boxes. In addition to the 15-meter coil version, other lengths can also be requested.
